1800: Colorado (2002)

About this game

A mini 18xx game, set in Colorado, and appearing in issue #17 of Rail Gamer Magazine. It's for either two or three players, and there are only nine playable hexes, so it's extremely "mini". The two player game has 2 corporations, and the 3 player game has 3. There is an interesting bond mechanism that allows directors more control over how much money gets into the company.

• Group size. Works with 2 to 3.
• Rules load. At 3.6/5 this is a heavy game — read the rulebook before people arrive.
• Age. The publisher suggests 16 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
