Yucata' (1996)

About this game

Simple movement game themed on Mayan graphics. Players have 7 cards (numbered 1-5 and 2 actions) and leapfrog their stone down the track. There are initial stones laid on the track and you collect them as you pass. According to their color, you throw stones away at the end, most stones left wins. The game has different variants of the initial layout. Online Play Yucata (turn-based)

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 1.7/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 9 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
